With the format of project calls, the DIZH innovation program supports the processing of specific questions in the form of cross-disciplinary and cross-university projects. Project calls are fundamentally focused on forward-looking solutions for relevant practical issues and societal challenges. This explicitly includes the possibility to work on novel, risky questions, for which the way to implementation or the measurement of the impact is fraught with some uncertainty.

The aim of the 3rd Project Call is to support projects that focus on different forms of cooperation between the participating universities with practice partners. For the projects with a duration of 1 to 3 years, between 100,000 and 300,000 CHF in funds from the DIZH special credit can be claimed.
