In March 2020 Lesley Spiegel was appointed Managing Director of the Head Office of DIZH – the Digitalization Initiative of the Canton of Zurich’s Institutions of Higher Education. From 2015 until 2019 she headed the Institute of Design Research at the Zurich University of the Arts and was member of the Digital Council of ZHdK. Lesley acted as CEO of the Foundation Technopark Zurich from 2004 – 2009. She worked for Ernst & Young Corporate Finance and was many years active as Management Coach building innovation-oriented Start-ups and as Expert for Innosuisse. In addition, she acted as Advisory Board member of the Impact Hub Zurich and the ETH Entrepreneur Club, promoted innovation as Jury Member of the Falling Walls Lab competition and acted as lecturer at ETH Zurich dedicated to innovation and academic start-ups.
