Christoph N. Vogel’s publication CONFLICT MINERALS INC will be presented. The vernissage will take place in the Immersive Arts Space and is part of a collaboration with the Geographical Institute of the University of Zurich for the project Kamituga | Digital Gold as part of the exhibition Planet Digital.
Kamituga | Digital Gold provides a glimpse beneath the shiny surfaces of the mobile technology industry. The focus is on the concrete challenges and living conditions of miners in small-scale gold mining in the Kamituga region (Democratic Republic of Congo).
